Do you ever question the beliefs you have about yourself? Where did they come from? When did you settle for it being your truth?

I was sitting the other day, realizing that nature is such a beautiful reminder to never hold on to something for too long and that everything has a season and a purpose. It invites us to never get so comfortable or attached to beliefs that we never question their validity.

If we never look inwards we might keep going with the same old beliefs, not because it’s necessarily true, but because it has become familiar.

When a tree births new leaves in spring, it stands proudly in its beautiful creation in summer. You don’t see the tree mourning when its leaves start changing colour in autumn and it finally drops in winter.

I get a sense that the tree is grateful for every aspect of the experience. That there is a time to birth, a time for change and a time to release.

I want to invite you to check your beliefs of self.

Are you holding on to beliefs that were relevant to a season that is long past? Are you ready to shed beliefs you’ve outgrown? Are you ready to invite and accept new beliefs about yourself?

Recreating, updating and birthing a new perspective of yourself. Knowing who you are now and awareness of who you are becoming.

May you stand comfortably and confidently in your beliefs of self. They enrich and support you on your journey.  Remember to regularly re-evaluate your beliefs; their value and truth. And when you’ve outgrown them you release them with an OPEN HEART.
