I know the question sounds like someone who wants to bargain.. if I do this, what’s in it for me? What will I gain or benefit?

Healing isn’t really about correcting or fixing yourself. In truth, you are not broken and you don’t need to be put back together again like Humpty Dumpty; what a relief!

In reality, a desire for healing is birthed from an extreme level of disconnection of self and not just any self, your true authentic self.

Therefore healing is getting to a point in your journey where you sit yourself down and get to a place of understanding yourself.

If this is what you want to experience, understanding yourself and even deeper than this to KNOW YOUR TRUTH of who you are and choosing to be, I highly recommend the path of healing.

To heal means to know yourself. A journey with no external destination, but where you finally go WITHIN to discover the true knowing of who you are.

In the almost ten years of facilitating healing, this would be my answer if you would ask me what healing is about:
I would say healing is about remembering and learning about CHOICE and that through the choices we make about ourselves, for ourselves, in our experiences etc. we are in actual fact CREATING ourselves and getting to EXPERIENCE who we are through the active living of life and participating in life with ourself and others.

It’s like we all go through a process at first when we start out living life, following this process I just explained, but we do it unconsciously. Then when the feedback we are getting becomes loud in the sense that it’s creating discomfort for us, we swing our creation the other way and we start living our lives consciously. This awareness and transformative process is what I see healing as, and also what I facilitate for people.

Even though you might say this sounds simple enough, it was never the process that was scary, in actual fact nothing is scary. It simply requires commitment and patience with yourself. Sitting yourself down and discovering the truth of who you are.

I have come to learn that a lot of times, who you created yourself unconsciously to be, is the shadow of self and when we have experienced the impact of this for a long enough period (which is unique to every soul) by actively living it we not only have the desire to change it, but I want to say in 95% of the cases I have worked with, comes to the question, ‘Who am I?’ which finally transforms the unconscious self and births the conscious self. This is the REAL process of healing.

Shedding the unconscious layers of SELF, all the labels and ‘jackets’ you’ve put on in an attempt to create your identity, including a sense of belonging in your family, with friends, in your workplace, at school, in society and ultimately never reaching the complete sense of satisfaction, it always feeling and being temporary.

These waves of fluctuation ultimately tire us out to the ultimate, emotional point of exhaustion that turns you to yourself, the beautiful, breathtaking journey within, in which you will find that everything you have ever sought, resides within yourself.

If you are finding yourself in this place at this time, I invite you to reach out and contact me. I would love to support you, there are many options and opportunities to move you forward.

Until next time remember, you are awesome, no matter where you find yourself in your journey.
